March Lecture on Cumann na mBan

Join us on Tuesday 21st March at 7pm in the Source Gallery, Thurles for the next lecture in our Tipperary People and Places series

Dr. John Borgonovo who lectures in the School of History at UCC, specialises in the revolutionary period of Irish history. He is also co-editor of the Atlas of the Irish Revolution.

John will be discussing female combatants and Cumann na mBan during the Irish Civil war 1922-23.
