Bealtaine 2016 Launch – The Source, Thurles, Thursday 28 May @ 3pm

“Bealtaine” is Ireland’s annual national celebration of creativity as we age. During May, all over the country Bealtaine events are running in arts centres, theatres, libraries, galleries, community centres, local halls, care setting, cultural spaces and even out in the open air! This year, we are celebrating Bealtaine Festival’s 21st birthday. On our 21st birthday and 100 years after Ireland’s spiritual birth, we feel it is time to celebrate the very first citizens of the Irish State. This focus is to encourage us to once more reflect on who and where we are as a maturing nation and populace.

Tipperary Library Service’s calendar of Bealtaine events will be launched on Thursday, 28 May @ 3pm. All are welcome to come along to The Source, Thurles, to be part of what is one of the Library Service’s highlights each year.
