We’ve just received a collection of old records from Newtown N.S. County Tipperary. The syllabus for cookery for 3rd to 6th class girls caught my eye.

Top of the list; Bacon and Cabbage then moving on to Soda bread. I note they got a talk on ‘Vegetable foods’ as well.
