Launch of 2018 Tipperary Historical Journal

The 2018 Historical Journal is now available from Tipperary Studies, The Source, Cathedral Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

The journal was launched by Dr. David Butler of U.C.C. and includes articles such as a bibliography of the GAA in County Tipperary, The rise of Sinn Féin in Clonmel 1917-1918 and ‘an episode of the land war in Tipperary’

The County Tipperary Historical Society regrets that it can no longer accept foreign currency bankers’ orders, postal orders or cheques. The society has established a PayPal account at https://tipperarystudies.ie/tipperaryhistoricaljournal/ while this system has been set up to accommodate foreign currency purchasers of the Journal Irish purchasers are also welcome to avail of the PayPal facility.
