February Lecture_ Catholic churches & chapels before & after Emancipation

Join us for our February lecture: “Catholic Churches and Chapels Before and After Emancipation” on Tuesday, 17th February at 7pm in the Source Library, Thurles.

 Our speaker, Niamh NicGhabhann Coleman, is an Associate Professor in the School of History and Geography at the University of Limerick. Her research explores Irish social and cultural history, with a particular focus on art and architecture. She is currently working on a book examining the development of Catholic architecture in Ireland (1780s–1930s).
