Tipperary Historical Journal 2023 is now available

The 2023 Tipperary Historical Journal was recently launched by Liz Howard at The Source, Thurles. As usual the journal offers a diverse array of articles contributed by esteemed authors from around the world. Topics range from the medieval abbeys at Holycross and Kilcooley, written by Niall O’Brien, to interesting studies on the famine period in Tipperary by Gay Lowry, Gerard Walsh, Richard Cashman, and John Keating. Padraig Lane explores the lives of farm laborers in the late 19th century, while Denis G. Marnane looks at the building of labourers’ cottages.
