Staging the Easter Rising: 1916 as Theatre, 23 Aug @7.30

Our annual Heritage Week Lecture will take place this year on Tuesday 23 August in The Source, when theatre historian Nancy Leahy returns to deliver her lecture entitled “Staging the Easter Rising: 1916 as Theatre”. Nancy will delve into the various different attempts that have been made to portray one of the country’s most momentous and iconic historical events on stage in Irish theatre down through the years.
