A notebook kept by Frank Drohan of Clonmel during his internment in Frongoch camp in 1916 has been added to our digital archive on http://tippstudiesdigital.ie
Frank was heavily involved in the Irish volunteers and the IRB, he orgainsed the Clonmel branch during the Easter rising and was arrested on the 2/05/1916 in a national roundup.                                                                                                    He was interned in Frongoch along with other volunteers.
The notebook gives details of daily life in the camp and the continuation of military style organisation among the internees.
The notebook has being digitised by kind permission of Frank’s niece, Una Power and is now available to view here on our digital archive
