February People & Places Lecture

Our February lecture by Dr. Gavin Wilk examines the lives of Tipperary Republicans who emigrated to New York after the Irish Revolution and particularly during the Great Depression. Gavin’s talk will offer a glimpse of how these men and women worked, socialised and survived in the city during those turbulent times.
