Cashel ‘Within and without the walls’ 6th lecture
Cashel Heritage Forum are delighted to host Dr. Paul McCotter for the sixth lecture of the ‘Within and Without the Walls’ series on Thursday 27th June.
Dr. Mc Cotter is a renowned scholar, and is currently a university lecturer with the Irish Ancestry Research Centre of the University of Limerick and the Centre for Adult Continuing Education of UCC. He is a regular contributor to the Irish Roots genealogical magazine, the Irish Genealogist academic journal and the Irish Lives Remembered e-zine. Paul is also the genealogy trainer for the Ireland XO program of the South East Cork Area.
Many readers will know of Paul’s extensive research on the Sall Family of Cashel. His lecture this week entitled ‘Anglo-Norman and Old English Cashel’ will look at these and other prominent families whose patronage helped establish many of the significant foundations around the town.
The lecture takes place in the Parish Centre on Friar Street, Cashel at 7.30pm, all are welcome and admission is free.
