Tipperary’s architectural heritage lecture now online
Our March lecture in the ‘Tipperary People and Places series’ is now online.
Barry O’Reilly takes us on a whistle stop tour of Tipperary’s rich and varied built heritage. From humble pumps and victorian railways to grand houses, and discusses best practice in preservation of our rapidly diminishing architectural heritage.
Barry is based at the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage for the last twenty years and is responsible for the national strategy for built vernacular heritage, A Living Tradition. He is also a student of corrugated iron, vernacular settlements/hamlets, and the vernacular landscape.
