Emly Historical Society is　delighted　to present a　talk on the “War of Independence in the　Emly area and the　Emly connection in　the 1916 rising”　by　prominent local historian and celebrated　author　Tom Toomey. The talk will take place on　Oct 28th at 8pm in St Ailbe’s Parish　hall in Emly　and　will cover the following topics in detail:
