In the last number of years there has been a proliferation of parish GAA histories, and these have added to the many books of general GAA interest in the Library. Of inestimable value to researchers also is a full run of the Tipperary GAA Yearbook, published since 1970. Tipperary Studies also has a large collection of GAA programmes relative to the county, along with some GAA scrapbooks, the most famous of these being Sam Melbourne’s. There are also several works on athletics, cricket, golf, handball, hillwalking, hunting, racing, rugby, soccer and tennis. All of these sources are available to consult in Tipperary Sources in hard copy.
