John Flanagan (1947 – 1994)
John Flanagan Jnr. started his working life at Camas Park Stud, Cashel, Co. Tipperary owned by Timmy Hyde.
John was a hurler with Moycarkey/Borris and played right corner-forward for the Tipperary Senior Hurling team between 1967 and 1977. He won 2 Tipperary titles and 1 Munster title with his club and had 22 appearances with the Tipperary Senior team winning 2 Munster titles, 1 all-Ireland and 1 national league.
John was a great worker with a lot of ability and gave many years of outstanding service to Holycross Show.
