Just as Tipperary Studies houses non fiction works relative to the county, it also stores many volumes of fiction and poetry written by Tipperary people, and others linked with the county. Perhaps the county’s most celebrated novelist is C.J. Kickham, whose famous novel Knocknagow holds prime position in Tipperary Studies fiction collection, and his works are accompanied by other renowned Tipperary authors and poets such as Laurence Sterne, Julia Kavanagh, Tomás MacDonagh, Darby Ryan, Myles Finnan and Denis O’Driscoll. All of these works are available to consult in Tipperary Studies in their original paper form.
