Podcast 21; Percy Fitzpatrick and South Africa

Percy Fitzpatrick, the author of ‘Jock of the Bushveld’, a famous South African, had Tipperary roots. His father was born in Nenagh, the son of a Catholic shopkeeper, and rose through the British Empire legal system to become a supreme court judge in the Cape colony.
