The minutes of the Tipperary North Riding Committee of Agriculture give a great snapshot of rural life. From emergency measures to get in the harvest during World War II to the replacement of a turkeycock. Here the committee are protesting against the governments lack of investment in rural property in 1925 despite farming being 70% of GDP at the time.
